Duisenberg school of finance stands for top education and research in finance. A premier private finance school located in the heart of Europe (Amsterdam) with world-class faculty and direct links to industry leaders in the world of finance.
Duisenberg school of finance is located in the center of Amsterdam, close to the renowned Tinbergen Institute, at Roetersstraat 33. The school has a second campus at Henri Polaklaan 13.
Duisenberg school of finance is a collaboration of the Dutch financial sector and universities, with the intention of supporting innovative research and offering top quality academic education in core areas of finance. Programs included in this scholarship opportunity are as follow:
Duisenberg school of finance's objective is to become one of the world's leading academic institutions in finance and to support its students in becoming leaders in the world of finance. In order to achieve this goal, Duisenberg school of finance has collaborated with Erasmus University Rotterdam, University of Amsterdam, VU University Amsterdam, Tilburg University, the Tinbergen Institute and leading international schools including Columbia Law School, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the London School of Economics.
By recruiting the faculty from such a large and knowledgeable base, Duisenberg is assured of a diverse and expert faculty in the field of finance. Students benefit from a high exposure to the best available national and international expertise, and can gear their studies and industry exposure in such a way as to best serve their career ambitions. Students and graduates are trained to operate in leading positions in the national and international financial industry, the corporate sector, research agencies, and academia.
All academic programs are in English. OBJECTIVES The objectives of the MSc programs are to provide the highest level of academic training to students and to post-experience employees who aspire to become leaders in the financial sector or to pursue an academic career in finance. The programs consist of a mixture of advanced courses in finance, independent research cumulating in a master thesis, a mandatory internship and practical knowledge. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The MSc programs have their respective admission requirements. Given the high academic profiles of all Duisenberg school of finance programs, students should be prepared for more of a challenge compared to most master's programs. There are two streams of admission; prospective students who have just finished a Bachelor's or Master's program, and professionals who have gathered some years of industry experience.
