NAF AWARDS DINNER - April 16, 2010

The 15th NAF Awards Dinner took place on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Washington Golf and Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. This annual dinner is the premier Dutch-American event in our nation's capital, celebrating Dutch-American heritage and friendship. By conferring Awards named after recent Ambassadors of the United States to the Netherlands, the dinner honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to furthering and enhancing business and cultural relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador J. William Middendorf II Award was presented to Mr. Henri Termeer, Chairman, President and CEO of Genzyme; the Ambassador C. Howard Wilkins Jr. Award to Mr. Herman Dijkhuizen, Chairman, Board of Management of KPMG N.V, and the Ambassador K. Terry Dornbush Award to Mr. Mark Pigott, Chairman and CEO of PACCAR Inc. General David Petraeus, Commander, U.S. Central Command, made the keynote address. Her Excellency Renée Jones-Bos, Ambassador of the Netherlands to the United States, served as Honorary Chair of the Dinner, with Bill Tucker, Esq. serving as Dinner Chair.
